Interesting, thanks. I thought to go very differently:

"Interesting. I've heard often I'm too direct.

But easy to solve: [name], I'd like to meet you, check if we have chemistry, and if we do, undress slowly your red skirt and then make you scream.

Let me know if you're in."

You advise against?

The story continued. Pretty surprising to me.
How would you continue?

OK, here you go.
For the record, I've already continued with "love the enthusiasm".
But curious, what might have been better. Or what this chat still might need in general.

Thank for your comment, got your point.
I know the idea of sending short text to get her invested. Tried to keep mine as short as possible, maybe even shorter is possible.
Went now with "love the enthusiasm" (without the smiley, found it too "nice"). Let's see what we get.

Mhm. Do you have a particular answer in mind?

I assume that with her breakup feelings, she's the only one that can deal with them. Also I'm not sure if I should raise this topic and we end up talking about her previous bf.

So I rather thought about only assuring her that nothing will go too fast. Like this:

No worries, [name]. We can just do the things that we'll both feel good about.

What do you think?

Well, it all points to a recent break-up she had.
Don't think it's a too big of the concern, otherwise the final smiley wouldn't be there.

In the sense of: She can't expect you to know that she was in the hospital.

How about:

Yup, you don't owe me anything, and I don't owe you just knowing where you have been.

Hope though, it wasn't too bad and you got well again.

And then move on, unless she replies.

(Maybe fix some grammar, I'm not a native speaker ;)
