The problem is that for 6 months I’ve been going back and forth with her, stop and start, including 3 months where I didn’t hear from her after sending my number on the app. Then she randomly reaches out, I’ve been trying to make plans with her, but it’s been inconsistent the whole way, that usually for me is a no brainer that it’s low interest of course. She’s done this a few times before and I softly called her out, but this time I felt I had to do a bigger one given that I’d moved on and then she reengaged.

1. I couldn’t take the call the day she suggested but I did try to reschedule and she didn’t give a day/time.

2. I don’t have IG, and after all the hassle I just wanted to make sure this girls real, she was pressing me on how I checked it so rather than claim I have some burner or I googled her ig I just said I used somebody else’s ig. I don’t think it’s that big of a deal given the alternative explanations tbh.

99% of the time for me its black and white, the girl either complies and responds or doesn’t at all, which if I’ve already number closed is very rare, ghosting is usually on the apps with girls I didn’t get to close the number. The fact that she texted me after 3 months of giving my number out, yet still continues the same inconsistent patterns seems like she’s wasting my time, that’s why it’s frustrating.

I think my next call out in the next few days will be my own edited version of “if you’re not into this let me know and I’ll stop trying”. What do you think?

It’s possible, but then tbh women can be weird in general, could just be her way of being humorous. and I noticed she has trouble putting sentences together with her spelling etc. so I’m willing to give her the benefit of the doubt since she may have suspicions I’m a catfish for not picking up the phone.

Either way she’s still in my tinder list, so I’ll see if she’s off her period in a few days and hit her up to see if she’s gonna unblock me. I’ll know more on the video call if I do get there. Remember she’s abroad so it makes things a bit different.

I’ve encountered a real dry spell of attractive women on these apps, seems the quality of girls to like/swipe on has gone down hugely. Before I’d come across 8+ every day, now I barely see 6s.

I’m not actually sure if she blocked me twice, on iMessage I assumed I was blocked because when I sent the last message it didn’t show delivered, but when I checked a few hours later it showed it had been delivered. She’s still in my tinder match list so I guess it won’t hurt to try again, I honestly just didn’t find the right time to do a video call tbh, it’s kinda long but maybe I can tell her we’ll do one this Sunday or something.

But your right, it’s a red flag when they don’t text back and insist on video calling etc, so I ain’t too fussed, but she’s a legit 9 and they don’t come around much on tinder anymore. Tinders become a struggle because the girls on there these days are all the same single mums. A year ago all I saw were dimes.

I always stuck by the rule of waiting 24-48 hours minimum between each text as a follow up. I ain’t messaged in 3 days I’ll let this one slide for now, maybe use the squirrel threesome meme in a week as a last resort, but at the same time try to not dig a deeper hole. Any suggestions on how to revive this one?

I had the exact same problem so I deleted it. Hinge I have too many matches to pick from, tinder has occasional girls I swipe on but a lot of the same basic looking girl. Bumble I had only 3 matches in my 2 years on it so I deleted it, but maybe I’ll reconsider.
