Hi Top G, Your comment made me wonder and the thing you said about missing the context of cold approach + date kinda struck me.

I actually think this is where I went wrong because during both of these events I fucked up the context by letting the convo slip away to random subjects rather than making it purely or majorly about hooking up etc.

I am pretty sure I didn't come around as desperate.
When I analysed the incident later after reading PWF Community user Top G's comment on my post, I realised that the context setting during the cold approach and during the date was not very strong.
The whole discussion became about job/career etc with very little context of hooking up etc.

Also, there were 2 massive red flags that I realized later. One, when I hugged her before the date, she gave me that half assed sideways hug and second she was very shabbily dressed when she came outside to meet me (even by the instant meetup standards).

These 2 red flags were indications that was she was not seriously sexually available at that point which I overlooked at that moment.

During the cold approach, I screen girls for sexual availablity and this girl gave me evidence that she is sexually available (she was very comfortable with prolonged hand holding and also pressed my hand while we parted) and this is why I pushed her for the date the very next day.

But the next day when she agreed for an instant date, I now realise that she was under a bit of stress due to her job/career situation.

I should have :
1.Read the red flags properly.
2.Context setting during the cold approach and date should have been clearly only sexual.

When I met resistance during escalating, I am sure I was a bit surprised but didn't come as sad/angry/desperate etc.
I saved all those emotions for later 🤣
