Hey, Im wondering how you guys go about asking to go back to your place. I literally don't know how so I started off pretty weird sounding but lately I just say something along the lines of lets take this some place more comfortable. Unfortunately I can never seem to get a girl back to my place on the first date. I always get really touchy on the date and make sure I kiss them at some point. Am I just not getting sexual enough? I feel kind of awkward going too sexual on the first date. Does anyone have any tips to increase my close rate on first dates outside of my place.

Upvote for the diametrically opposite perspective. I can't imagine a good 1st date as anything OTHER than drinks at a bar. I wouldn't want to meet a new woman in private. I've met some legit crazies. The bartender/staff I view as my friends and teammates basically, they are my witnesses. And I am very comfortable going for a kiss / moderate make out at a bar, 1-3 kisses is perfect over 2-3 hours having drinks. Anyway awesome having massively different perspectives on this forum.

This is definitely the way to go. Coffee or drinks. Some girls will want to do dinner and that's okay too. I think it's fine to try to add value but most of the guys giving their perspectives and opinions on here just don't have enough experience yet. A private date such as on a half deserted beach is just not going to go down well with a lot of girls. Too much pressure plus safety concerns etc. If you can't escalate at a bar, it's your fault not the location.

I see what you're saying but some of my best date have come right to my house. I get the sense that girls are thinking about what other people are thinking about them when we go to a bar and if you arnt a total creep when you meet I dont think safety concerns are an issue.

Haha interesting, guess we all have our preference here. If I meet any actual crazies at some point I might switch to that but myself I personally have a harder time with PDA. Might be the age difference of us in the forums and where we live that makes us have diff preference
