Here is the context.
I was in an American bar in Japan while on a tour (contiki) and every single aspect of this interaction with a hot girl was in my favour. I was looking fresh, confident, met a 8/10 Canadian who recently broke up with her Japanese bf and was leaving for CAN the next day. Started chatting her up as my group made the environment light and friendly and we were seated alone at the same table. We had heaps in common so the conversation flowed easily and i was able to throw in compliments and takeaways at will. I was getting all the IOI's, eye contact, touching and compliments from her. I knew she was into me and all i had to do was ask her back to my hotel which was the best part because i had by chance been given a room to myself. It struck me that i had never actually asked a woman in a bar to leave for a ONS before, I thought for a long time during the interaction how to ask her without making it cringe, too forward or unappealing but couldn't quite figure it out on the spot.
Eventually toward the end of the night (11:30pm) she made the remark about how long the walk was back to her hotel was from the bar, i saw my opening (as my hotel was literally 50metres away)"You know if you don't feel like walking all that way you could always come back to mine, its just down the road." She seemed hesitant and unsure and i felt she just needed a little extra push so I said something along the lines of " it will be fun and I'll make sure you arn't late for your flight the next day."
Unfortunately despite spending a lot of time building it up, with all the other indicators of interest, with it all basically handed to me on a platter, she refused. All of my friends (male and Female) asked "what happened Kal? I thought for sure you were going to pull" after she left. I honestly thought the same. Did i overthink it? maybe a little but i honestly didn't think my proposal to leave back to mine was that bad.
To avoid this happening again, What do you say to a woman that you know is into you and want to pull back to your place for a ONS without seeming to forward or scaring her away?
