Hi everyone. I've recently attended a christmas party held by my employer. I've met a girl there and we kind of hit it off. Nothing physical at first, we were just chatting, bantering etc, she seemed interested in me which I found flattering and this is what probably kept me engaged with her. There was a moment when she said she feels a bit too drunk (she wasn't shitfaced or anything, maybe just a bit more than tipsy, idk, but her speech was coherent, she didn't zig zag while walking, etc) and wanted to dance. I was not into it at initially, even suggested she dances with a close co-worker o hers who kind of seemed interested in her but after a while I caved and we went to the floor. At first we were just dancing beside each other, I was holding a glass, she - bottle of water. After a while I took the bottle from her and laid both drinks on the table and we danced while holding hands. Soon we began to get closer, hugging and stuff. A thing to mention here - the close co-worker I mentioned earlier was standing nearby and looking at us. It was a bit creepy xD But she described him earlier as very protective of her and stuff (I assume some level of friendzone) so I guess he was doing just that. Although, we he considered me a threat to her? Nvm, I think he might've already left at this point: so, the dance became more physical and emotional - she had an open-back shirt and I was caressing her back, there was some intense eye2eye contact and I thought it's gonna lead to a kiss. Bu then, she remembered I have a wife (I did mention that in our convos) and ended the dance. I really wanted things to escalate at this point and said we have an open marriage (which is kind of true so pls reserve your judgments) but she either didn't buy it or smthng - idr now. Regardless, we still hanged out for the rest of the party, there was some gentle physical touch which she did not impose to (carressing her hand, touching her hair, intense stares, etc). WHen she was leaving, she kissed me in the cheek and said 'I love you' but we are not native speakers so it can't be taken literally. I wrote to her on MS Teams a few days later, just a 'hello', she did not respond or even read it (you can see the status of a message as 'read') so I follow up with a goofy gif 2 days later (a guy knocking 'on the monitor') but no 'read' status after that for another 3 days. Now I am thinking of sending her a text on Monday like 'hey, are you deliberatly ignoring me? So be it but at least let me know you are not interested'. Something that won't appear needy or butt-hurt. I don't even know what I want in all this, I giess I'd just like to grab a coffee with her and chat. What do you guys thing about this? I am trying to think of a reason why she wouldn't even read the message/see the picture. I might've become a bit pushy by the end but the way we parted was somewhat positive so...Was she really that drunk and had like a moral-hangover? Was the co-worker looking at us a variable in this equation? How should I re-enagae?
