I've had this happen a few times in day game where i'll be chatting to a girl, and when going for the close they'll say something about how they are not looking to date anyone right now or are not ready to date because they just had a recent break up etc. Assuming the girl isn't just saying that to reject you, is there any good way of reframing that? Example text that I got from a girl earlier from day game: "Heya, as I said i'm going through a rough break up at the mo, so i'm not really ready for another relationship at the moment. But I wanted to say thanks so much for approaching me and being so sweet"... etc.
