I matched with this 10 and she opened with a flirty message. The convo started off strong and did have some other good moments later but mostly started spiraling downhill with lots of beginner mistakes. Since there aren't any time stamps, it's also worth noting that I was deliberately waiting around 2 hours on average to reply. The conversation hasn't been completely terrible so far and she has seemed decently invested which makes me think that this might just be salvageable. I've been letting it sit for over 24 hours now and I'm trying to figure out whether I should continue with reopening her or building on the previous conversation. Advice is appreciated So what were the mistakes? Well firstly the most obvious ones: using emojis, writing long messages, double and even triple texting, boring conversation and missed opportunities. I have highlighted some specific mistakes in the screenshots. Should not have asked about work. It's a terrible topic to discuss but I figured I'd ask since she brought it up. Luckily we were able to make it somewhat playful and interesting with a bit of flirting but it just carried on too long. When I brought up my (previous) job I probably should have tried to make it sound more interesting. Instead I took the "making a joke of it"-route. I gave her an easy "out" of my suggestive message. Two questions in one message. The simpler the better Trying to answer all questions. Had an opportunity to go for "you should take me cold dipping" or "bet I can handle the cold longer than you" but I passed on it. Self evident. WAY too much fucking text. Trying to answer all questions again. Gave her an easy out and missed another great opportunity.
