I try to (1) keep it as invested as the girl or less, (2) fun/flirty, and (3) soft close when ready but I seem to get a lot of ghosting on hinge. These girls are cute but the flake rate is ~80%. Anything obvious I'm messing up on? 3 sets of examples attached, with varying levels of investment from the girl from start to finish. I've tried investing even less before but got even more ghosting, which is why my messages are now between 70-100% the length of hers.

All depends on context man but for example I would skip the small talk kind of questions. Just add some humor and move things forward progressively. The conversations you’re having seem very logical. Women are more emotional so its not necessarily what you say, but what it subcommunicates.

Right, I agree it all depends on context but that's why I had the screenshots. It's easy to give general advice but harder to actually prove it with concrete tips. That's why I asked if you could provide specifics - feel free to go off the screenshots provided for context

So here are a couple of specifics.
Girl 1
I would have dropped an "ahh that makes sense now, well I like your style" after her line about the wedding at the museum or something about her dress being intriguing to you. Then steer towards your weaknesses (if you use that in your bio). Like followed up with something like "only question is if you have some of my weaknesses" or something like that.
Girl 2
I would have scrapped your double text about special talents and I would have said "Yes, I am an expert cuddler" Or "Yes, I'm aspiring to be the world's best cuddler"
Girl 3:
I would have scrapped the first triple text and used the "we" frame to discuss Lake Como. Like "Lake como sounds like a blast, when we hitting up one of the sand bars over there?" Or "Lake Como huh, wine, grilling and bikini's sounds like my type of trip. When we going?"
Then I would be trying vibe / sexualize slowly from there. Or roleplay out the Lake como scenario. I would definitely be throwing in a "do you like wine?" or "favorite adult beverage?" during the follow ups to what I wrote and then position a soft close based on what she tells you she likes to drink.
