“Let’s keep the first date casual and stick to drinks. There will be plenty of room for fancy dinner dates in the future :)” “That sounds amazing but for our first date I have a different plan” then offer to cook at my place and share wine on my balcony “Let’s keep the first date casual and stick to drinks. Food can make me sleepy”

She’s extremely hot so I’m not even sure I wanna risk inviting her straight over. I just don’t wanna do a dinner date, would prefer just having wine at a bar nearby

I would reframe "extremely hot" to "she looks attractive but lets see what she's like, if we click etc, she's lucky to meet me also" in your own mind.

Also this looks low investment to me. My bet is she'll flake unless you do in fact wine and dine her (read: $500 tab, she'll happily use you for that).

My advice would be to wait at least a day, then something like: "actually there's this funky upscale wine bar I had in mind, they do have hors d'oeurves and the atmosphere is awesome. What do you think about that?"

Hors d'oeurves can be any friggin food it just sounds fancy. And by asking at the end, you possibly up the investment, at least you give her a chance to invest. She also could be a chick who's either using dudes for nice meals out, or looking for a sugar daddy and screening accordingly. I think you'll need the "only if you want to" frame. And don't dwell too much on her looks, hold frame.

Actually , upon a closer look - she first responded sat 27th at 2:04pm. You soft closed - can't tell exactly, but probably less than 24 hours later. Then you do the takeaway 2 days later, then she takes 4 days to suggest trite "how bout a wine and dine" so- tough love but I think you messed up...She thinks you're eager and shes gonna see if she can use you at this juncture. You'll have to flip the script and regain frame, which will be tough but give it your best shot. I still like the text suggestion I mentioned above.

He definitely soft closed too early but it's not really because of the time he took to soft close more so the interaction that was had. I don't believe 2 days to re-engage is too little time either if that's what you're trying to say
