I'll be wary of doing a reset because when I did mine a few months ago, I honestly didn't get a noob boost. I probably got like 10 likes sitting after the supposed "boost" but again these might've been unattractive girls. Also tinder is trying to crack down on people who keep resetting, so imo the best way is to just upload new pics and let your score naturally build up. Boosts probably helps, but what helped me in the past was using the passport feature to travel to different places to get the "boost" from being in a new city. That seemed to help my score

This is neither a uk or American thing. It comes from the Christian religion where people are supposed to give up a vice for 40 days. It starts from March-April. It can be any vice such as chocolate, drinking alcohol, gambling, sex, etc. and the joke is that when you say you give up serial killing for lent, the girl knows she won't be killed because of your religious faith. It's just a joke, but it shows you're un-phased by her accusing you of being a murderer. Also i'm being nitpicky but I wouldn't use the "last year" part of Alex's line because lent is every year and it's funnier if you say that line even though the time period isn't in March-April.

You're not a bad looking guy, but I think you can take better photos. There's a couple things I can point out that might help. I don't think mid-ankle socks and running shoes look very stylish unless you're working out. Also, I think a hair cut will help make you look sharper. If you're going to use group pictures, make sure the other guys aren't better looking.

Super valid point. Another way to develop your sense of humor is having friends who are funny. Obviously it's not easy to find, but if you can, its one of the best ways. I've noticed that whenever I'm talking to someone, I'm able to come up with funny comments and twists much faster now because my friends and I always try to top each other's jokes or continuously add and build on funny interpretations to single topic. It helps too because if your friends do something stupid, they know you're definitely gonna start clowning them, but in good taste. This can easily be translated to teasing a girl.
