I should say she replied "Mhm ok" immediately after I suggested drinks. I then went to bed and text her asking for her number the next morning so potential error there lol. In future, I wonder if it’s best to sexualise without going too far and then do comfort all in the same sitting/ conversation to try to reduce flaking.

Just to add my two cents "are you always this talkative?" is a callout. I agree it makes sense to use here but if you don’t like it Alex has videos with other examples like "Thinking very hard I see" or "Hope I didn’t make you shy".

The reason you use it is you’re calling out the fact she hasn’t responded to you, particularly she hasn’t responded to you asking her on a date which is something of value. If you just continue the conversation you’re implying that it’s acceptable for her to ignore you asking her out on a date which has all sorts of other implications.
