Quick update here. Followed through on the haircut. Pretty happy with it. Looking into getting contact lenses next. I think there's a 15% chance if a bartender asks for my ID, I won't get served.

Do you all think contacts make a difference in how attractive you look? If they do, I can take my glasses off for pictures, but I'm practically blind, so I can't exactly leave them at home for dates. Is it worth getting a prescription for contact lenses?

Do you get tested fairly often? Use condoms? Dental dams are safe, but they're just not very sexy.

Found this girl on OKC, her IG was listed in her bio. Found her and hit her up. My main worry is that she knows little to nothing about me (I haven't really added to IG since high school except for a couple recent photos to correlate with dating apps) yet she still seemed really interested in meeting up. Is that weird? Kinda makes me think she does this with everyone who messages her. Seriously, my Instagram game is SAD atm. Am I missing something? I'm really new to this. If this works out, it'll be the first time.

To be honest, I think I look really good with long hair. It's healthy, and lush. I get compliments on it pretty regularly. The beard too. They've kinda become an iconic look for me and fit my "cool musician/introspective novelist" vibe. However, I don't get matches on tinder or really any other dating app. No more than a couple per day anyway. After finding Alex's videos, I've been thinking about personal development and utilizing my looks to get the results I want in my social life. Would I be sexier with less hair?
