Hello, So I been seeing this girl for a month about 5 dates total.. we seem to connect kissing and affection but no sex yet she wants to wait. I took her on a date yesterday and I was planning on going back to her house to close in on sex. So we sat on the car I had her on my lap started kissing and then i was reaching up her skirt and then she stops me. I then leave it alone and start asking her not to day I want to have sex with you but how do you feel about sex when your getting to know someone and she said that she doesn’t really have sex until shes in a relationship with someone and statted saying shit like shes celebate right now so I started to realize she eitheir isnt attracted to me or she hasnt built up enuff comfort to have sex with me. She told me she likes me but shes confused cause theirs a guy shes been knowin for 10 plus years and he was there when she was experiencing a difficult time in her life and he is tellin her he wants something serious with her but the guy is like ten years younger than her and she isnt sold on him etc. So I pretty much told her that I like her to and you can do whatever your comfortable with but be careful and make sure its something genuinie and your not getting played. Then I noticed she started giving me a warmth like smile and she said so you mean you really care about me and I replied Yes I do. So we kissed passionately for a minute or so and then she told me to take my short off and I said no cause it was cold asf I said lets go back to your room and she said no im not ready so im kind of confused I want to close with her. Im also willing to casually date her cause shes cool and I actually like her what mistakes have I made what can I do to escalate to sex. I feel like I am almost asking her for permission to have sex which I kind of fucked up on. Thanks!
