Would love to get your guy’s take on this one. I matched with a girl on Tinder and she opened me because she had seen me play live at several events in 2019 (before the CV19 stuff went down) It was a perfect setup because she was already investing. I floated the idea of meeting up after I got back from a week long trip out of town for work. I sent her my number and she texted me ASAP. Normally I would have gone for the same day/next day meetup but I literally couldn’t because of being out of town. I responded to her text about 7 hours later because I just had my hands full getting ready to leave, and she texted right back. Everything was going well. I really wanted to do a meetup with her then, but it just wasn’t going to work with my schedule. To start the banter I asked her how her “soggy Saturday” was going because it had been raining and cold all afternoon. She simply replied, “Wet.” I was sure whether she was opening an escalation window or not, so I didn’t write anything dirty back. Partly because I don’t have the time to dirty text back and forth for a whole week while I am out of town. In other dirty texting scenarios I have been in, once the ladies get going they just want to go for hours if logistics aren’t right to meetup. Secondly, with the level of investment I was getting, I figured I would have another window of escalation when I got back into town. So I played it safe and said something witty back to her, but not sexual. It has been almost 2 days of radio silence now which is totally baffling me right now. Do you guys think that I blew the whole interaction by not talking dirty? Sort of scratching my head on this one.
