I was texting this girl I met at an event, everything was going good being playful, then I asked her a normal question and she responded with a short answer. Which is fine, but then I must have blacked out or something cuz before I knew it I had responded with a much longer reply, within that reply was a demonstration of lower value, and I immediately followed it up with a personal question which was super sudden and awkward. Anyways, she ghosted. I'm wondering if I should try to revive it, its been a week. The issue is, I'm going to her hometown soon to work with her coworkers (were all in the same industry) and well probably all go out after, so I'm going to see her regardless. At this point I'm thinking its better just to leave it and play like I forgot all about it (which is an absolute lie). But then I'm paranoid that that's a weirdo thing to do. I clearly showed that I liked her when I met her and got her number, wouldn't a normal person message after a few days like "hey what happened, you alive?" given things were on good terms? Is the fact that I didn't do this weird? So the alternative is to try to revive it, but if I get ghosted again man showing up there is going to be awkward, plus its been a week since her last text so maybe that's a bit long? I dunno my brain hurts. I just want to know what a normal person would think in this situation, so when I show up there and see her I can try to feel somewhat normal about it. Thanks
