Social circle game - girl recalled her IG message?
Hey y'all, just started grad school and I've been adding a lot of girls I've met on IG. One girl in particular (she added me first after we met at a random party) has been kinda weird with her messaging. Let's call her X. She's commented on a few of my stories and we end up having a little back and forth, then she leaves me on read. This repeats a couple times during the week Fast forward to today, her roommate invited me to dinner with a few of her friends (roommate and I are chill friends) and X ends up running into us and saying hi for a bit then leaves. After dinner, our group ends up at some random gathering then rooftop drinking. Meanwhile I keep posting stories in IG about this fun night. X then comments on my IG story (I don't open the message but can see the contents, so she can't see that I read it). I usually am having fun so I reply to story comments later in the evening.... But then I get home and about to reply to messages and realize her message isn't there anymore, she must've recalled it...? I know what the contents were tho (basically saying hey, it was so cool running into eachother etc) What gives y'all? I'm thinking maybe she doesn't want to seem like she's trying too hard or something? I defer to you kings and experts, wtf bros... And what should be my next move, confront her (in a joking nice way, like saying hey I thought I saw a message from you earlier but didn't get a chance to read etc) , be chill say nothing, or pretend I didn't see it and send a reaction to her next story to get the wheels and conversation going again?
