Hey guys. So this girl gave me her number on tinder.
I texted her something that is very very corny in hindsight. She obviously has not responded and it's been like 3 hours and she has been online, so it's pretty sure she is just going to ignore me.
I took her as the quirky girl type, or e-girl I guess.
She has the photo of a baby cat drooling while sleeping.
So I said:
Hey Sara.
We don't know each other that much yet, but i feel like a drooling kitten as a profile pic it's definitely so you.
Is there any good recovery lines for this? How much should I wait?

Even if it isn't the best, I'd say you can still recover from that... I've opened with the silliest and dumbest stuff and recovered.
But you really have to get into an abundance mindset and not care as much as it seems you do. 3 hours is nothing and there can be a million reasons she didn't respond yet. Heck sometimes I am busy with something, check the message cause I'm curious but don't have the time nor energy to respond in that moment and end up responding that evening or the day after. (she could be in the same situation)
I'd say give it like 3 days, and hit her with "am I wrong?", or "always this talkaktive?" based on what I've seen Alex and others promote and it has worked for me. Hopefully someone else can chime in aswell before then to help.

Hey thanks for your input. You are right about the abundance thing. It's just that things with girls right now are getting so frustrating and absurd that it's starting to get to me. Like for instance this particular girl had a particularly interesting personality and seemed very interested up until now. I feel like I have fucked up so much lately and don't know how to stop it.
And with the comeback lines, i wonder if it's a good idea to keep pushing for a response over the same topic (which was a cringe opener) or if it's better to re open from zero. I think @avilench . suggested the Ryan Gosling meme in the past, but I can't use it because:
- she's not from that generation, she's only 20 years old.
- We are both in and from Colombia, so it's not something culturally relevant.
Hopefully @.Eric . can give some insight too.

Remember once you get a womans phone number try to keep the banter to a minimum, make the conversation more about setting up the date and less about keeping her entertained. Especially if that's what you feel like you're messing up on. Less is more.

Or you can say " don't worry, this can be our secret"
" Are you always this talkative" or " am I wrong" like suggested. You want to wait at least a couple days before you do any of this, give her some time to respond, if she gets the feeling you're needy or desperate she's going to either ghost you or flake out on the date

I know, it was a terrible line, sadly it happens often that I only realize when it's too late.
Im a really laid back guy in real life, my game is mostly based on non verbal communication, that's why I feel so unnatural when texting, as I have to be really "out there". On dates I do excellent, but when it comes to online dating I really struggle getting to that point as l have to text.
She actually replied at like 6 am today without me texting her anything beforehand, apologizing and saying that the reason she's been absent is because work has been crazy.
I replied:

Yeah I can see that by how early you have to wake up.
Sounds like you could really use a good distraction to get rid of that stress.
Was it a decent text? My intention was to lead things into hanging out. Tho in hindsight I could have framed it in a way that sparked her curiosity more.
