Hey guys,
Had a solid convo with this girl — good energy, long replies, seemed into meeting up. But now she’s insisting I come to her city (about 40 mins away). I teased her a bit about needing a visa to visit mine, but she doubled down with “So doesn’t Amsterdam 😉” and hasn’t softened since.
I’m not opposed to going there eventually, but I want to make sure I’m only investing in women who show some flexibility and effort early on. Feels like if I cave now, I’m chasing.
What’s the best way to reframe this and get her to agree to drinks in my city without killing the vibe or looking rigid?

Some girls will just be screened out . Most likely when you try to convince her she will be stubborn . That’s ok tho , these are the types of girls you screen out before the date cause there will be other issues later on
You can say “I’ll make you a deal.. come to (my city) this time and next time I’ll come to yours”

Kind of a turn-off. I' m torn between leaving her on read and grabbing her number, sending her a text so we both have each other's number. That way we can text if one of us is near the other's city. Or will I be wasting my time?

yeah this would be a type of situation i would walk away from. you can try as a hail marry to say "are you gonna give me a tour of your new place ;) "
