Had a great first date in corner of cosy candlelit bar - great banter, laughter, flirting and very similar interests. Lot of investment from her side - plenty questions from her. Talked for three hours. Then hugged and parted ways. Texted her I got home safe and checked if she did (she mentioned it when parting ways) Next day at 1pm I sent “Name, thanks for a great night last night, I enjoyed your company. I would like to see you again if you’re interested” To which she replied “me too, yeah that would be fun 😊” Hours later I said “cool, let me know when you’re free :)” It’s been over a full day and there’s no reply. What would you do? I understand she’s busy with work like me, and may not know when she’s free but I generally like a reply at least. Since I have first chatted to her online we would send one message a day so she is a very slow texter if that’s anything to go by.

Me: “ah nice hope they don’t go too hard on you with the return home interrogation questions”
“Haha, it should be good if our first date is anything to go by :)”
“What’s the new job btw?”

Her: “just another university job but doing educational programming instead 😊”

I’ll admit I was not in the right frame of mind (just got back from good date with other girl) and texting is very beta hence why she ignored the first two things I said. Should I keep the convo going and re-engage next week closer to our scheduled date?

Don’t wait a week, every couple days is long enough, this doesn’t mean talking to her all day, just a few simple texts some banter back and fourth and you’ll be good

  1. don’t bring up and date again, she’s already agreed, if you keep bringing it up she’ll think you’re needy and she will flake on you.
Only bring the date up a day before the actual date and then again on the date to make sure things are still good
