https://tinder.com/@zackamite Be as brutally honest as you can be. I get very few matches and it makes no sense to me, I don't think my pictures look as bad as they could be. Or maybe the competition is much more fierce than I've anticipated ☹️. Any tips will go a long way for me

Hey Zach - thanks for sharing.

The first is your best photo, but its not THE best photo.

The reason:

  • You're slightly hunched over. You're not standing strong or showing good posture.
  • You're in the middle of a neighborhood park. Seems kinda lame.

You looking away at the photo and smiling is good.

The reason why you should get rid of the rest of your photos:

  • Selfie's with friends. Ultimately no one cares about your friends other than you and your own friends. Everyone else is a stranger.
  • Again, non-selfie with friends. No girl cares who your friends are. They're looking to meet YOU, not your friends.
  • Random ass cat photo. Its a really shitty photo of your cat. The reason? Its not doing anything interesting NOR are you holding it to make it look cute or something.
  • Random ass selfie thats from UNDER your chest. WTF angle is that? Plus, WTF is all the emoji's and shit? Get rid of that on your picture and future photos. Not masculine looking and its almost childish.

Solutions:

  • Start having friends take good photos of you. Find the friend (or yourself) with the nicest phone (iPhone 11/12 pro cameras are amazeballs) and start taking photos around town.
    ----> Where you ask? Go look up best places to take photos in your state/city. Check the instagram tags of the places that are hot places.
    -----------> Even if its 1 hour away to get to these cool places, ITS FUCKING WORTH IT. You will now have a cool ass photo in a cool place.
    -----------> Secondly, going with friends to take photos means that you're in the "always doing cool shit" vibe.

NO MORE SELFIES.

Ok thx so much bro, I'll try to have my cousin take some photos of me this weekend. He has an Iphone SE, is that a good enough camera?

I dont know the iPhone SE but having someone else take a photo of you is a good start.

I highly recommend understanding the poses a bit.

Some tips:

  1. Take full body shots
  2. Vertical photos (best for Instagram and dating apps)
  3. Find awesome places to take photos like city buildings, lobbies, hotel lobbies (nice ones), art centers.
  4. Take MULTIPLE photos while posing. You should take about 10+ photos per pose. You're probably not going to get the best shot on the first try. Thats why taking multiple is good.
  5. Bring different outfits/shirts etc - you dont want your instagram/dating profile having the same outfit on each photo, ya feel?
