We had been messaging daily for 12 days in a row . We had 44 back and forth messages to each other not counting double texts so I thought we had built rapport and I didn’t want to run out of things to talk about on our date. On Monday evening I thought we confirmed the date as she replied “that’s perfect” I didn’t message her again until Thursday midday (day of the date) to confirm. Then she said she now had plans. Was I at fault?

yes i think so. She probably thought you werent that much interested in her, and thats why she made plans. At the start, you need to treat them very specially. Remember they tend to have many options.

I once arranged 3 dates, each in each day, during 3 days. I arranged them, like 2-3 days before. And when the days came, all of them canceled me. Also, once I arranged with them, I stop talking to them.
Since then, I always talk to them, until the date comes. In fact, I try to always at least greet them each day, even after the first/second date.
