Yes, it is viable provided that you have a good instagram. If your IG is shit, then no amount of textgame will yield results. In terms of how it is different than tinder, the main difference is that there is no "social contract" that you and the girl like each other. It is like the cold approach of online game. I wouldn't go too sexual too fast and would wait before investment/attraction is established before doing any sort of takeaways. Exact openers don't really need to change. I would just avoid anything overtly sexual and if you have anything in common (especially friends), then lead with that. As far as picking which girls to message, I would just select one that has less than 10k followers and lives in the same city as you or one nearby
