I'm curious man, what is this carrier that you have that does not have unlimited text? Either way, find one that does and switch to it. Being able to text without worrying about the cost of each message is a must in 2019. Once you do that, just switch it to text. Or you can try asking her what app she uses to communicate, but honestly if she doesn't have whatsapp/viber she probably only uses text,facebook messanger and or instagram.

She said she doesn't have WA hence the question. Honestly, I haven't sent a single text message in the last year or so. 80% of my phone calls are also over WA or Messenger. I don't mind paying extra but pretty sure most don't text just Messenger.

Well, continuing the conversation on bumble isn't optimal but you can certainly do it. Also, if you feel like she's super invested then you might be able to get her to download whatsapp, but aren't great options. Alternatively, you can spend a few hours and get your facebook on point and then do that instead
