I wanted to send her another empathetic text tomorrow as a last hurrah since she's pretty hot. Something to this effect: "Look, I totally understand where you’re coming from and I'd be frustrated too... the actual reason I asked that is that something bad happened to me a few months ago and now I’m extra cautious.
