Hello, This girl works in a very large convenience store which I visit once a week, so I spoke to her a few times (shopping). Tuesday, she served me and she mentioned that she doesn't celebrate Xmas this year because she became single and there is no point celebrate Xmas alone. I got the hint, so I asked her out for a drink next days, she enthusiastically said sure and we exchanged numbers. She mentioned that this week she is free Thu and Fri. WhatsApp TEXT (translation): TUESDAY 18:40 me: "Hi Iza, nice to meet you today :) are you always so friendly to the new guys?" THURSDAY 12:10 me: "...?" FRIDAY 18:00 her: "Hi, I'm friendly to everyone it doesn't matter. Sorry, I don't like exchanging meaningless messages, I rarely text back. Have a nice night" Her WhatsApp was NOT active from our number exchange TUE till actually her response on FRI. How respond to something like that? Cheers.

This right here. Kinda rude of her to not at least entertain op but i guess thats her prerogative. Youd think if she was at least somewhat interested she wouldve humored him a bit.
Perhaps this is a red flag and op dodged a bullet. I know i wouldnt want to date a girl who doesnt show me basic common courtesy and expects me to read her mind.

Speaking from experince i matched with this one girl that lives less then a mile away, tryed to have a convo and she responded like 2 times then ghosted
Match with her again after a few months, same thing. Then i just text "wanna go out sometime?" and she responds "sure since ur so close:)"
And in person she told me she hates texting and rather just meets up. These type of girls are rare but they do exist, tho i agree with your last sentence yea
