Had a great first date in corner of cosy candlelit bar - great banter, laughter, flirting and very similar interests. Lot of investment from her side - plenty questions from her. Talked for three hours. Then hugged and parted ways. Texted her I got home safe and checked if she did (she mentioned it when parting ways) Next day at 1pm I sent “Name, thanks for a great night last night, I enjoyed your company. I would like to see you again if you’re interested” To which she replied “me too, yeah that would be fun 😊” Hours later I said “cool, let me know when you’re free :)” It’s been over a full day and there’s no reply. What would you do? I understand she’s busy with work like me, and may not know when she’s free but I generally like a reply at least. Since I have first chatted to her online we would send one message a day so she is a very slow texter if that’s anything to go by.

Thanks man, I used your line. She wrote back within 5 minutes.
“Sorry been a mad week”
“I am away for two weeks so the 30th might be my best day?”

Todays the 12th. How would you play this? What would you say. It’s a long time.

You have to keep the conversation warm, this doesn’t mean text her all day everyday, but don’t wait until the day before she comes back and say hey are we still going out tomorrow

Cheers man. That’s a good strategy.

I wrote back “you’re grand :)
“The 30th suits fine. I’ll put you on my calendar (inside joke she said it to me previously) and the champagne on ice”
“Heading anywhere cool?”

To which she replied “visiting home to see family before I start the new job” “haha that sounds delightful 💁🏻‍♀️“

What does that emoji mean? Or what would you send back?
