It might be. Never apologize for escalating in an appropriate way. She probably read that and thought "OMG. He doesn't get it". Remember what Rollo always says "she wants you to just get it"
Who knows she may respond. Definitely do not follow up for at least 2 days. This girl is not important to your life man, but the reference experience could be a great step forward for you. Keep your head up. I'm in my 40s and I still fuck up situations too. Did this past week, in fact. It’s defiantly does help a lot. I think I was focused in juts passing the shit test by addressing her text directly with humor. But this was a great learning lesson.
