Hi, I'm 2 hours south of Atlanta and I'm hoping my particular situation could be helped. I'm a 26 year old guy (5'10 170lb) and I wouldn't say I'm ugly or anything, but I'm kind of a loner introvert and never been in a relationship. I personally want a long term relationship with a nerdy girl that I find attractive and who's into one or more of my own interests (anime, gaming or drawing). I'm on the 3 main apps but I haven't had any matches yet. I do worry about what I would do if I do match with someone and they live 2 hours or more away. How do you deal with that kind of interaction to see if I like them and want to commit to that distance to meet them. Any advice for me would be great, whether it be about my mindset or how to achieve what I think I want.

All the things which @JenYu T said is gold for you
And i would also like to add that dating apps will not lead you to the girl which you want. Either you should do cold approach ( will take time) or you should join some course related to your hobby and try your luck their.

I think he should do both. His odds are low on the dating apps imo (Nice guy look + lack of "good" girls nowadays) but its best to have as many avenues as possible and i think you'd be surprised by what you find given you put in the effort. You never know what might happen/who will pop into your life.
