I second this. It's the best way to pivot from a situation like this.

I agree, your text game was on point. Always more fish in the sea.

Here are a few things I would take away from this:

  1. Your opening was solid, but you really didn't need to add "Is there any good backstory behind it?." If you were interested in dating/fucking this girl, then you should have just stopped after you said "sexy tattoo" and kept a fun/flirty vibe, and made sure to maintain frame.
  2. Your responses are a bit too long here and demonstrate over-investment on your part. You should limit your responses to the same length or less than the girl.
  3. Once again, your question about Halloween comes across as very platonic and any girl who's looking for a hook-up or to go out on a date is not going to take you seriously when you're asking safe questions like that.

IMO, it would be really difficult to turn this conversation around. The most important piece of advice I can tell you is that everything you say should have a clear purpose such as building investment, setting up logistics, or overcoming objections as you try to go for the close. It's ok to have some banter in an effort to build some investment, but you should do this while maintaining a fun/flirty frame.

Looks like this girl was giving you 1-2 word responses throughout the duration of this conversation and I think your responses were appropiate. She clearly isn't interested, so you are better off moving on to other girls.

I'm curious to know whether there was any conversation prior to this, as some context might help explain why you are getting little to no investment from the girl here. This is the dialogue you would want to have after you opened the girl and already built some investment when going for the soft close.
