I feel what you're saying. I encounter very similar situations. Like, if I'm tryna set up a date and the girl says "I'm not sure if I'm working that day but I'll let you know ". Right away my ego is like "fuck that shit." And if she never confirms to let me know if she's working or not, my ego says "don't talk to her again"
