You're probably doing something wrong with gym then, not eating enough/not using a proper routine. you should look noticeably different with 3-6 months of training.

Honestly your smv is pretty low rn. I would work on yourself for a while, maybe 6 months - 1 year. Social life, confidence, gym, fashion, grooming, hobbies. Seeing a therapist would help. Then get some really good photos and hop on the apps

There’s no reason to ever really ask for their number unless they are taking long to respond. Also slow down build more comfort
