Definitely don’t tell her you were on another date. I would just say, “I was having fun being me” or “I was working on some things around my apartment” both of which are probably true on some level. She is probably seeing other guys as well. Eventually she will bring up being exclusive. Right now your goal should be to figure out if this girl is going to be good for you long term before she brings up being exclusive.
