There's multiple ways to do it. Smoking area(should be quiet), dancefloor. If there's no these, well, you just have to go there and strike up a convo. Also before you say a word, get attention first. I usually just wave and get their attention first, then show them to come closer before saying anything. Then you can bang up any opener you like without repeating yourself, if you talk loud enough.
