Met this girl on Hinge we then transferred over the conversation to text. We made plans for a date but now she has ghosted me. What did I do wrong?

I would say you got a little sloppy on the whole meet up.

I would have made it more clear it’s a date, not just a friendly meet up to talk about pets. Probably should have stated the coffee place y’all will be meeting at to solidify the plan more (which would create less flake) which was followed up by you saying you gotta go instead of carrying the convo on just a bit more.

Additionally, how many days ago was this conversation? (Between today and her last message saying “okay”)

Agree there's just nothing overtly or implicitly flirty or man to woman here. But the flake IMO is most directly related to after she says "Monday at 6 works for me" and then rather than seal the hard close with logistics, you have some boring patter about the grocery store. At that moment she was probably like, nah this guy doesn't know what he's doing or how to lead. never forget how much girls want you to lead.

Your response should have been:

"Awesome. How about X Coffee Shop, Elm St, 6pm tomorrow"

Okay. Then following up the day of was fine since it was a short amount of time.

However, instead you should have said “hey, we still on for tonight?” Right off the bat.

Lastly, I agree with Life Skills on the hard close, stating the meeting place, time, etc. for her to fully agree on that. Harder to call her out on being flakey when the plan was solid.

I think you kept pushing for the meetup too much. I've seen this happen from time to time. You try to just solve logistics and end up just coming across a bit pushy/impatient
