I am still new to this but from what I can tell, it appears you are giving too much "validation" and "rewards" and texts do sound a bit needy. There is less banter/escalation and more serious talk. I think going with the typical "Sorry for hear that. We have been talking for a bit now and not much harm can come from causal a drink. sometimes you have to take a leap of faith as good things don't come to those who don't take a chance. It would anti-climatic to end things there." Although its pretty much done tho
