Did I misread this conversation? The long message you see was because I read somewhere that to build investment you should take the lead in a conversation. It seemed to have worked.

Build investment by asking her an interesting question about one of those topics, the one most likely to be happy for her.
You tried an uncalibrated soft close too early... like, you're going to arrange for her to clean her apartment and get organized?
Another option, get towards sexualizing... "Tell me more about this wild side"
