You came off as needy because you double and triple texted her multiple times and asked for the number trying to get the meetup too early.
If you look closely he sent those texts as in 2 or 3 pieces of text as if he was putting his thoughts into 2 or 3 pieces of text. It's not like he double/triple texted unless these texts are apart from each other for more than 1 min to around 24 hrs. Sometimes, people double text with the texts 30 sec apart from each other, which can seen less needy compared to if he were to double text with these texts 10 min to maybe 5 hrs apart.
Asides from that, you're right that Jackson Huang got the meetup waaay too early when he barely build any investment. And also he should think what text he to send or add before pressing the send button.

I don’t really understand the double text rule. Usually when you send a follow up text after a hour or more, it shows up with a gap between the text. I consider that a follow up text to reengage. Double texting to me is texting two separate texts at the same time.

Honestly, I don't think she was serious about meeting. She wouldn't tell you what day she's free and more importantly wouldn't give her number. That is a pretty good sign of a timewaster

Thank you so much for the advice Alex! From now on I believe I should work on distinguishing timewasters from the actual serious ones. Like what you said: "a PUA try to work it out with every girl, while a real player understands that he'll not fit every girl."
