Hey Alex, hope you’re doing well. I had a pretty weird situation happen about two weeks ago and could really use your insight on what actually happened here.

So I met up with this girl Katie late at night. We grabbed a drink and then headed back to my place. Things were going really smoothly and we ended up smashing for about 15 to 20 minutes (brought out a hitachi vibrator, vibe seemed totally fine). But then out of nowhere, she got up to go to the bathroom, came back out, and said she "felt funny" and had to leave.

Right after she got home, she texted apologizing for ducking out like that, saying she felt funny and couldn't really explain it, but didn't want to force herself if she wasn't feeling right. She explicitly told me it was nothing I did and brought up that she loved my cat.

I kept my cool and replied saying no worries, and that I'd feel terrible if she felt obligated to do anything. I asked if it was an age gap thing, but she said "No not at all." The next afternoon she hit me again saying "I'm sorry again about last night," and I just replied "No worries, Katie" to wrap it up on a good note.

Honestly, what was that? What do you think was going through her head mid-hookup for her to panic and bail like that? Also, based on how genuine her texts seemed, how do you read her overall vibe, and how would you handle reaching back out to her (if at all)?
