She might bring up interesting facts about herself so that you don't have to ask tons of separate questions. It works better for girls not originally from there so mentioning McAllen is better than saying "Are you originally from Texas" because there's a greater chance of being wrong with McAllen.
The "Hey trouble" opener is not my favorite because it sets kind of a high bar for yourself early on. You have to be very smooth to pull it off, I think. The fact this girl responded is already against the odds so there may be something there. I'd recommend letting her build investment and tell something about where she's from.
