IMO they’re testing you whether you’re a flake or not and most of the time girls need to feel comfortable with the person. Sometimes it takes more than a first date to have sex and build up the tension for her. Otherwise, it’s something a person should respect and understand that it’s their decision. However, I do think in your situation, it’s that the girls are shy and feeling a little discomfort

I have a similar situation with sexual resistance. I was clubbing in Montreal earlier this year and ended up going back to this girl’s Airbnb. The entire night she was giving me shit tests/resistance like “I’m not having sex with you tonight” but I wasn’t phased since there was clearly sexual tension between us.
