Tinder asking me to get verified to chat with a girl
So I matched with a pretty hot girl, 20yo and skinny. She messaged me a waving hand but I can't reply to her since it seems she has set her preferences to "verified only". Is it worth it to get verified and is there any downside? I'm concerned about my privacy and also I've read Tinder can ban you for basically no reason anytime they want and then if you're verified they'll have much more data to track you across devices if I were to create a new account. Keep in mind that this is the only girl I can't reply to.
Been verified since it’s been available. Never had an issue. Haven’t been banned but I don’t really do anything to ask for that.
The bar for "asking to get banned on Tinder" is so low it's ridiculous. A sassy, flirty text can get you banned if it struck the girl the wrong way. You can get banned because the girl reported you with a false claim. Maybe you had a date and the girl was fatfishing you so you decided to bail, well she can report you and bam you're banned for life. Maybe a jealous ex sees you in Tinder and reports you without having matched, banned.
Tinder doesn't care for it's male users, it knows it has to keep it's female userbase happy because that's what attracts the males and their money. There is no shortage of male users, so they can consider them disposable.
To prevent this I unmatch all the girls after I meet them, that way if the relationship goes sour for some reason, they can't report me so easily on the app.
tinder does that? i only had that happen to me on bumble
I just did it as its pretty simple and dont think they can ban you easier if you use completely different pics
There is anectdotal evidence that suggests that Tinder does some image analysis to track banned users accross accounts. Of course they want to keep their methods as obscure as possible, but their TOS allows them to keep your data indefinitively when you're banned to "protect their userbase".

The downside is that if you get banned, you will be shadowbanned when you create a new profile. So, I'd just offer facetime to girls you are worried you're not real
