I changed my profile from being mostly in Korean to English. A few days later, the algorithm is largely showing me women who are many thousands of miles away on passport. Also, the matches I see on platinum are mostly from passport.

For anyone playing Tinder overseas this is something to keep in mind. Your profile text does have an impact beyond the ladies reading it. Right now, I'm trying to work around this without having to use 'recently active' which discards the algorithm altogether.
