26 year old virgin here. Hyper religious catholic background, you know the drill. I finally developed a brain two years ago and swore off all that wait until marriage BS. While I did manage to get intimate with a couple of girls since then, I remain saved for Jesus for one simple reason: I suck at kissing. And I mean I really suck at kissing.

Not in the 'let me lick off your entire face" kind of way; I just can't get the mechanics around moving my lips right. Imagine it like trying to make out with a chick on copious amounts of narcotics who can't feel what your respective lips are doing at all. This issue has so far effectively hard crashed every date that got even remotely sexual. Even girls that were initially friends of mine (and therefore had more emotional investment built up) bailed on my ass.

Has any one of you had a similar problem like this? How do you learn to kiss right if you naturally suck at it? The 'teach me how to kiss, I'm inexperienced' line really sucks at 26.

Edit: I have seen Alex's 'How to kiss a girl' video. While I think it's great at describing the vibe, some things you can do, etc., it is a bit like trying to learn how to drive a car by watching someone else do it. I need to practice it myself but that is kinda hard to do if no kiss of yours lasts for more than 30 seconds and is ever repeated.
