When you are saying the if “you aren’t into this,lmk and I can stop trying” takeaway, do you ever add a plan like “otherwise we can grab some wine” to the end of it. Takeaway seem like they can be read as you being jaded and I don’t want that.

No I'd never add that part bc it completely negates the takeaway part. Sometimes you want your takeaways to be a bit aggressive so that the trigger the girl to respond

you shouldn't water down the takeaway, but each takeaway has different severity. i only use that particular takeaway as a hail mary (i.e. a quadruple text when she left the triple text on read, or the third triple text in a row). it might feel that way to you because you're sending it too early (i.e. as your first or second double text)
