Soft closing too soon. Is it possible to recover?

Recently I had a big streak of girls rejecting my soft close attempt. We would talk a bit, I would go for "Do you like wine", they would say yes, and when I say "We should split a bottle sometime soon", they would just go silent on me. I would follow it up with "if you're into that sort of thing" and get a "I'm not". Is it possible to recover from this? And how? Or should I just chuck those leads into garbage and move on?

No you can't really recover from that, however, what you're saying is pretty interesting because ghosting (atleast in my experience) rarely happens during a soft close. If it does, it usually happens during the hard close or after that. You should post some screenshots.

There's no need for screenshots, I knew exactly what mistake I made. I was just too busy lately and too lazy to do the whole thing the right way, and was just trying to rush things as fast as possible to get the dates, so that's why I got blown off during soft close as a result.

ok so you know where you fucked up, you just want to fix it. Let's see...

how bad did you fuck it up? could you ask "what's your idea of a great first date" and get a reasonable response? or would they just say "anything where I'm not drinking wine with sincord"

"oh you want the whole bottle to yourself! does not share well with others, I get it... anywho" (change topic)

I second the request for screenshots if you want helpful advice, we need the context and the vibe
