I would like to explain my case on Tinder to understand what I did wrong. For two years I used a profile that first gave me satisfaction when free and then when paid with Tinder Platinum. I matched with a lot of very beautiful girls. There were many weekly likes and there were many Tinder matches thanks to Platinum (highlighted by a specific notification "match occurred thanks to Tinder Platinum"). Two weeks ago I closed profile 1 and opened a new one, in some ways similar to the previous one but with two different photos. I used the same bio, the same search settings, deactivated smartphotos, but the numbers are very different. I received just 20 likes with the free profile. At this point I did Tinder Platinum hoping to return to the levels of the previous profile, but I only received 5 likes and the numerous matches that characterized my previous profile with a subscription are no longer pouring in.

Is profile 1 really better than profile 2? If so, why is it better?
