Felt it went downhill after she asked "I could ask you the same question". Didnt know how to answer and felt I lost control of it.
I'm obviously not going to message again and possibly reopen in a few days if she doesn't respond so I'll post her response once/if she does. In the meantime what could have been better responses at each answer. Thanks

Second message; instead of what're you doing up past your bedtime. I've found that saying "Someone's up past bedtime" works better
