we had our first date almost 2 weeks ago. she was being shy so i took charge and kissed her. we texted a little after that. I set up the next date. she agrees but says shes busy. I told her to cancel here plans since she would have more fun with me. that seemed to work because then she invited me to her plans. then I walked her to her car and she told me to kiss her. she goes to the movies all the time by herself she likes to do things by herself.

oh man, where do i begin. First, you always have to take charge, doesnt matter if a girl is shy or not. Secondly, you shouldve gone for the close on the first date, and if not definetly on the second one. Thirdly, you don't want to join the girl for her plans. You shouldve just invited her to have a drink at your place. Going to the movies on a date is a horrible idea.
Waiting longer would not have changed anything. There is a chance she might have lost interet. You can follow up with "if you're into that sorta thing"

i tried for drinks at my place and she kinda said yes but wouldn't confirm a day. thats when she suggested me coming with her to the movies. so I thought that was a win instead of waiting a whole week for her to actually be free.
Yea movies isnt usually good. she told me she had to work in the morning so i told her she should probably go (after making out) i just assumed she didnt have time to come to my place. Luckily i have a couple other girls so im not to worried about it. just trying to improve
