What's the community's opinion on when to respond. When a girl texts me back 1 minute later consistently it sends a different message than if she texts back an hour or day later. It feels needy when she texts back too quick so I'm sure she feels that way 10x (as Alex would say) when I do it. When do you respond? Do you mirror her response times?

Just mix it up and keep them guessing. I never text back any shorter than 10 minutes though.
I wouldn't mirror her response time, but with a bratty girl I wouldn't be as responsive. Generally instantly replying is seen as quite needy, so I wait quite a bit to respond, adds suspense, makes the girl chase and invest more in the convo anyways.
Personally I just reply when I see the message. I tend to have my phone on do not disturb most of the time so im not constantly looking at my phone when I get a notification.

generally speaking, it is good to more or less mirror a girls response time however this is not nearly as much of a big deal that people make it out to be. The main deal is you dont want to constantly be texting her when shes taking her sweet time to respond. As long your not doing that, you probably good. I dont really overthink this stuff. But then again im pretty busy so i dont have the luxary of instant responding in the first place most of the time.

Personally I like to keep the girl guessing, but not as intentional as you may think. If I’m busy with other shit (which we all should be) then I’ll take my time to reply. But if she happens to message me while I’m already on my phone then I’ll just reply then and there. As long as you’re not constantly replying instantly then it’s fine.
